Private Lessons on Your Chosen Instrument
Each individual is unique. I try to find the best method for each and every student. Whether you want to learn to read music or you want to learn how to create music that appeals to you, I try to make the journey to that end goal as enjoyable and productive as possible, incorporating as many relatable music concepts as as I see fit. I offer half hour, 45 min and 1 hour lessons on piano, guitar, ukulele and violin. Invest in something that will bring you a lifetime of joy!

This is a premium hands-on service. This saves you travel time plus you can tend to other things as your child learns. Higher engagement with the teacher typically yields faster progress. Please ensure the instrument is situated in a quiet spot, out of high traffic areas.

Virtual/Online
This service offers more scheduling flexibility and ease of scheduling. A good option if you do most of your studies at home and enjoy that luxury. A great way to work on ear training, and incorporates new and innovative digital resources, including interactive games like Flashnote Derby, Noteworks, and Musictheory.net. Typically the lesson is carried out using Zoom or a mutually agreed platform.

Communication
Any student regularly taking lessons is always welcome to ask questions and share recordings for feedback in between lessons. This is best done using tools like text and email. I am committed to solving problems during the week and ensuring consistent progress between lessons.
Policy
Once you agree to a weekly time slot, you are committed to this time for the year. If you can not make your weekly lesson, you must arrange for another time during the week to do the class. Payment is required four weeks in advance and a two-week discontinuation fee also applies. Payment can be made by E-transfer to rachelletherese@gmail.com
